Another Anime Expo has come and gone. But, boy did AX bring some good licenses to the States. Between Bandai, Funimation, RightStuf and Geneon, there were a lot of announcements to be made.

Some of the more notable announcements:
Bandai announced that they have not only licensed K-ON!, but also that The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya will be re-released in an Anime Legends package.

Geneon Universal announced its 2010 lineup: Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail, Hellsing, Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, Toaru Kagaku no Railgun, Hakuōki, and High School of the Dead. They also announced that several anime themes under the music label "I've" will be made available on iTunes.

Funimation announced that they will be releasing the new Trigun movie, and several other titles from Geneon's catalog. Additionally, Funimation also rescued several licenses previously held by ADV: Chrono Crusade, Gantz, Kaleido Star, and Peacemaker.

Aniplex USA announced that Durarara! will be released in January 2011.

VIZ Media announced 4 new manga titles: Mistress Fortune, Sakura Hime Kaden: The Legend of Princess Sakura, Oresama Teacher, and Ai Ore. VIZ also announced a new anime license: Nura: Rise of the Yokai.
